45-Year-Old Adelanto Woman Arrested For Cruelty to A Child

ADELANTO, CAIF.(VVNG.com)- A 45-year-old Adelanto woman identified as Maria Rosalina Quezada was arrested for cruelty to a child, authorities said.
On Sunday, October 30, 2016, at approximately 12:50 a.m., Deputy Malcolm Page of the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station, assigned to the City of Adelanto, was dispatched to a report of a family disturbance at a residence in the City of Adelanto.
Deputy Page responded to the residence and spoke to all involved family members. Through his investigation, Deputy Page learned Maria Quezada had thrown a water bottle with water in it at a juvenile who resides with her. The water bottle struck the juvenile, causing minor injury which did not require medical attention.
Maria Quezada was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center. She was later issued a citation and released.
