HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 40-year-old Hesperia man was arrested over the weekend after he willfully discharged a firearm in a residential neighborhood, officials said.
On Saturday, January 20, 2024, at about 10:30 p.m., deputies from the Hesperia Station responded to a residence in the 11600 block of Fourth Avenue for the report of shots heard.
When deputies arrived at the location, they contacted the suspect, Danny Proa, and through investigation learned Proa was shooting a firearm.
Proa was arrested and booked in at the High Desert Detention Center for PC 246.3(A) Willfully Discharge of a Firearm with Gross Negligence and was later released on a bail bond.
The investigation is being handled by the Hesperia Police Department.
