ADELANTO, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A 39-year-old Victorville man was killed during an off-roading accident Sunday afternoon, officials said.
On June 3, 2018, at about 2:02 pm, a 22-year-old Victorville woman was driving a 2016 Polaris Razor 4, eastbound on Sierra Road, west of Mountain View Road with three passengers.
According to a California Highway Patrol news release, the Polaris struck a dirt berm causing it to roll a couple of times before coming to rest on its wheels.
CHP officials said, unsafe speed for the roadway was a contributing factor, however, alcohol and/or drugs are not believed to be a factor in the crash.
As a result of the collision, Alejandro G. Olvera sustained fatal injuries. A 17-year-old teen girl from Santa Ana, a 19-year-old male from Victorville and the driver all sustained moderate injuries and were transported to Antelope Valley Hospital for further treatment.
