32-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Early Morning Crash

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) A 32-year-old motorcyclist from Victorville was killed in an early morning crash on Saturday, officials said.
The crash involving a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a yellow 2005 Dodge Ram was reported at 3:00 a.m. near the intersection of Nisqualli Road near Cypress Avenue in Victorville.
The driver of the Dodge identified as Daniel Velasquez, 20, a resident of Victorville, was traveling west in the center turn lane of Nisqualli Road, merging into the no. 1 westbound lane.
Richard Ryan Rosas, of Victorville, was riding his Harley westbound on Nisqualli Road, in the no. 1 westbound lane.
As the Ram merged from the center turn lane onto the no. 1 westbound lane, the Harley collided with the back of the truck, authorities said.
Rosas was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
A portion of Nisqualli Road was shut down for several hours while the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) processed the scene.
