VICTORVILLE, CALIF. (VVNG.COM) Three people were injured following a head-on crash that closed a stretch of Bear Valley Road Tuesday.
The accident was reported just after 6:00 p.m. on Bear Valley Road, west of U.S. Highway 395 involving a pickup truck and a sedan.
According to Deputy A. Arreola with the Victorville Police Department, one driver was traveling west and the other driver was traveling east when they collided.
The three injured occupants were transported by ground ambulance to local hospitals and are expected to survive their injuries.
Bear Valley Road was closed for about an hour between Mesa View Street and Bellflower Street.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in the collision.
