3 Arrested and Over 300 Marijuana Plants Confiscated in Hesperia

HESPERIA:(VVNG.com)- Three men are behind bars after the Sheriff’s Marijuana Enforcement Team served a search warrant and discovered a dangerous THC extraction lab, 300 marijuana plants, and approximately one pound of processed marijuana .

The search warrant was served on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 12:00 P.M., at the address of 12484 Mesquite Street located in an unincorporated area of Hesperia.

Upon arrival, investigators found evidence to show a THC Extraction Lab was present at one time and producing concentrated cannabis.

The suspects are identified as 29, year-old Christian Barrett Gaylord, of Hesperia, 24-year-old Kevin Craig Bloomingdale, of Hesperia, and 26-year-old Ricky Allen Kemp, of Hesperia were all arrested and charged with HS 11379.6(a) / HS 11358 / HS11359. They were booked into the San Bernardino County Jail and were given a $500,000 bail amount.

A code enforcement officer from the San Bernardino County Land Use Services also inspected the property and found several building code violations. A case will be investigated by Land Use Services. The property owner(s) may be issued a citation for the violations and ultimately fined for the violations if they go uncorrected.

The THC extraction process is extremely dangerous and has a high potential for explosion due to the use of large amounts of flammable chemicals during the extraction process. This chemical process is illegal and is a violation of California’s Health & Safety Code.
