3 arrested after stolen gun, narcotics and cash seized during traffic stop in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Three men who fled after fighting during a house party in Victorville were arrested moments later during a traffic stop.

On September 1, 2018, at 11:50 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the 14400 block of Moon Valley Street for reports of subjects fighting at a party.

Deputies were initially told that one of the subjects may have been in possession of a firearm.

As Deputy Roth arrived in the Brentwood community area of Reno Loop & East Trail, he saw a vehicle leaving the location and conducted the traffic stop.

The vehicle was occupied by Aaron Boyd, 19 of Hesperia, Terrence Brock, 25 of Victorville, and Taj Carter, a 20-year-old transient from Victorville.

After detaining the men and searching the vehicle, Deputy Roth found a loaded firearm, marijuana for sale, prescription narcotics for sale, drug paraphernalia, and cash inside the vehicle.

The men were arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center.

Boyd was booked on charges of possession of narcotics for sale, carrying a concealed stolen weapon, and prohibited person carrying a concealed weapon.

Brock was charged with carrying a concealed weapon. Carter was charged with felon in possession of a firearm and carrying a concealed stolen weapon. All are scheduled to appear in Victorville Superior Court on September 5, 2018.
