26-Year-Old Hesperia Woman Facing Attempted Murder Charges

HESPERIA, Calif.(VVNG.com)- A 26-year-old Hesperia woman is currently being held in lieu of a $100,000.00 bail and facing attempted murder charges, authorities said.

On Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at approximately 4:09 a.m., Deputies of the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to a report of a stabbing in the 17000 block of Alder St., in the City of Hesperia.

The suspect, later identified as Mistee Kay Howell was still present and taken into custody without incident when deputies arrived. The victim suffered a non-life threatening stab wound and was transported by ground to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

Through investigation, deputies learned suspect Howell stabbed the male family member in what seemed to be an unprovoked incident.

Howell was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center on charges of PC664/187- Attempt Murder.

This investigation is ongoing by deputies at the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station.
