22-Year-Old Arrested for Brandishing a Firearm and Narcotics

HIGHLAND, Calif. (VVNG.com)- Deputies arrested Miguel Morfin, 22, of Highland for brandishing a firearm and possession of narcotics for sale.
On January 1, 2017, at 12:30pm, suspect Miguel Morfin was involved in a verbal dispute with the victims at a laundromat near the intersection of Highland Avenue and Del Rosa Avenue.
According to a Sheriff’s press release, Morfin pointed a pistol at the victims following the dispute. The victims were able to flag down a passing San Bernardino School Police Officer and report what happened.
Moments later, the School Police Officer located Morfin driving his BMW near the incident location.
Deputies from the Highland station conducted a search of Morfin’s vehicle and located a loaded firearm in the backseat. They also found cocaine packaged for sale and other evidence indicative of narcotic sales.
Morfin was arrested and booked at Sheriff’s Central Detention Center for brandishing a firearm and possession of narcotics for sale.
