2019 Grand Prix motorcycle races returns to Adelanto Stadium Jan 18 -20

ADELANTO, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The High Desert’s biggest sporting event to date, the Adelanto Grand Prix Motorcycle Races, run from Friday, January 18, thru Sunday, January 20, at Adelanto Stadium.
This will be the season’s kick-off with Round 1 of the Big 6 Grand Prix Series, hosted by So Cal Motto Cross.
“This is affordable family fun, featuring riders of all ages. With over 2000 competitors, it is the biggest off-road racing competition in the country,” said Adelanto Mayor Gabriel Reyes.
Over three days,15 different racing classifications are featured giving the audience the opportunity to see riders of all skill levels, from beginners to pros. This year, the Grand Prize for the best Pro Rider is $11,000 – the largest win offered in the series.
Live entertainment will include over 25 bands and there will be a wide variety of food, beer, and booths to shop in. Secure camp sites, on the same property, are available for RV’s/trailers, at $15 per night or $40 for the weekend, on a first come first served basis.
Races begin at Adelanto Stadium, located at 12000 Stadium Way, Adelanto, on Friday, January 18 at 12 noon, and start up again at 7:30 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Ticket prices start at $5 for children and $10 adults.
