On Saturday, August 17th, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department will be hosting the 2013 Mountain Communities Emergency Preparedness Open House in Lake Arrowhead Village.

The event is intended to educate and familiarize the public with first responders, county and state safety programs, and other organizations that promote a better quality of life for the community. Each group will have a display, and some will have “hands on” activities for children.

There will be emergency vehicles and plenty of uniformed first responders in attendance. The display booths will be set up in various locations around the Lake Arrowhead Village peninsula business complex and parking lot.

All citizens are welcome to attend. If you would like additional information regarding the upcoming event, please contact the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station at (909) 335-0600.
