2 transients arrested after robbing Apple Valley man for his clothing and shoes

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Police arrested two homeless people after they allegedly robbed a 24-year-old Apple Valley man for his clothing and shoes.

It happened at about 1:00 am on November 9, 2019, in the area of Highway 18 and Navajo Road in Apple Valley.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Jackie Alban told VVNG the victim was approached by a male and female subject.

“The male subject threatened the victim with a chrome pipe and ordered him to remove his shoes, jeans and his sweatshirts. The victim did as he was instructed then ran for help,” stated Alban.
