2 Phelan Residents Killed in Crash

JOHNSON VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com)– Officers from the California Highway Patrol are investigating a fatal crash that left two people dead.
On Saturday, December 10, 2016, at 1:31 a.m., dispatch received reports of a two-vehicle traffic collision with extrication on SR-247 near Old Woman Springs in Johnson Valley.
Authorities responded to the scene and pronounced the driver and passenger of one of the vehicles dead at the scene.
“They are a 22-year-old male from Phelan and a 23-year-old female from Phelan,” according to the San Bernardino Coroner’s log.
Once next-of-kin has been notified, the names of the victims will be released.
CHP is currently investigating the collision.
