2 people airlifted from crash in Adelanto Tuesday afternoon

ADELANTO, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Two people were flown to trauma centers following a traffic collision on Tuesday afternoon.
It happened at about 2:53 pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at the unpaved intersection of Verbena and Lupin Roads, near the Adelanto High School.
First responders arrived and found a silver Honda SUV with major damage to the driver’s side and a burgundy SUV with major front-end damage.
San Bernardino County Firefighters requested helicopter Mercy Air 2 and H325 to land at the scene and airlift two people.
A third person injured was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
