2 people airlifted after ATC accident in Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Three people were critically injured when a motorcycle and ATC crashed, officials said.
It happed on Monday, March 25, 2019, in the 10800
At about 12:35 am, deputies responded to a motorcycle collision and upon arrival located three adults, one female and two males, with injuries.
Firefighters from the Apple Valley Fire Protection District requested two medical helicopters for two of the more critical occupants.
Sergeant Matthew D. Griffith said o
“Based on information at the time and area of debris, it appears one subject rode a motorcycle next to an ATC with the other two subjects. For unknown reasons, they side-swiped each other and both lost control. The ATC flipped over and both subjects fell out. None of the subjects were wearing helmets,” stated Griffith.
All three were taken to the trauma centers for precautionary reasons. Griffith said the extent of their injuries is still unknown and the investigation is continuing.
