2 houses catch fire in Adelanto Monday morning

ADELANTO, Calif. (VVNG.com) — An early fire at a vacant structure spread to an adjacent home in Adelanto Monday morning.
It happened on November 25, 2019, at about 10:10 am, in the 11000 block of Chamberlaine Way, near New Hampshire Street.
According to a tweet from San Berardino County Fire, firefighters responded and located a well involved vacant structure with exposure to a second structure.
Strong winds rolled the fire across the roof resulting in a second home catching fire.
In a follow-up tweet, County fire confirmed the vacant structure is a total loss and the fire on the adjacent building was knocked down.
The fire was declared knocked down by about 10:35 am. Firefighters will remain on scene for 2-3 hours as they complete “mop-up” efforts.
No injuries were reported by firefighters or civilians. The official cause of the fire remains under investigation.
