2 children hit by car in Barstow, both airlifted in critical condition

BARSTOW, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Two children were seriously hurt after they were hit by a vehicle Saturday night, according to the Barstow Fire Department.
According to a Facebook post shared by the department, Barstow Fires Medic Engine 363 was responding to a call for service when they pulled up to a horrific accident involving two small children under the age of 8.
Both children were airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center in critical condition. The condition of the children is unknown at this time.
“We ask that our entire community comes together and prays for these beautiful babies and for all families involved in this terrible accident,” stated Barstow Fire.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Barstow Police Department. Additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
