HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) The man who was struck and killed by a train in Hesperia on Saturday morning has been identified by his family as 19-year-old Seanquoine Walker.
Deputies responded to a call of a man hit by a train at around 7:34 a.m., on September 2, 2017, in the area of Hesperia Road and Muscatel Street.
“An unidentified male was located approximately 40 feet from the rail road tracks unresponsive,” stated San Bernardino County Sheriff’s spokesperson Adam Cervantes in an earlier VVNG.com article.
According to Cervantes, Walker was walking northbound on the rail road tracks with headphones on and was struck from behind by a train traveling in the same direction. Walker was pronounced dead at the scene.
Walker’s sister said in a Gofundme page that Sean was on his way to play basketball, “the thing he loved to do,” said Salone Russell.
Those who worked with him at a local KFC described Sean as a happy guy who loved life and enjoyed listening to music on his Beats.
Walker’s sister set-up a Gofundme account and is accepting donations to assist with the burial costs. Those wishing to donate can do so through the following link: My Brothers Funeral Costs
