APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Apple Valley police have arrested a 19-year-old man for allegedly stealing people’s mail.
It happened the afternoon of Wednesday, April 11, 2018, when residents living on the 15500 block of Tonekai Road reported seeing a suspect stealing mail from their mailbox, officials said.
Apple Valley Sergeant Jeff Allision told Victor Valley News, deputies responded to the area and found the suspect, identified as Matthew Difalco, a resident of Apple Valley with stolen property on his person.
Difalco was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center on PC530.5(e) and a probation hold. Difalco is currently on felony probation for assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury. Difalco is currently held without bail and his next court date is scheduled for April 13, 2018.
According to public court documents, Difalco is currently facing five different cases actively running in court during the past 13 months, 3 with felonies, and 2 misdemeanors. His most recent conviction was for Assault Likely to Produce Great Bodily Injury on April 2nd, for an incident that happened on March 20th.
