VICTORVILLE: (VVNG.com)- The Victor Valley community is invited to come out and take part in the 18th Annual Veteran’s Day Memorial Celebration Parade and Ceremony to honor all Veteran’s.
This celebration is sponsored by City of Victorville and California Cadet Corps 264th Battalion. Bring the family out to enjoy a variety of marching bands, entertainers, military units, and guest speakers.
The parade begins at Tracy and 7th Street and the Ceremony following the parade at Forrest Street & 7th Street. It’s taking place on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 9:00am to 11:00am. This is a family event and completely FREE.
A newly added event called the “Freedom Mile Run”, starts just before the parade, and is also FREE. Limited to first 100 runners registered. For those who wish to participate be sure and register at Corner of 7th and Forrest at 8:15am.
Please note important road closure information: 7th Street will be closed between “B” Street and Mojave from 8am until 11:30am. Please utilize alternate routes for detours.
