EL MIRAGE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Authorities are investigating a shooting that erupted during a fight in El Mirage late Saturday night, leaving a 17-year-old with a minor injury.
According to a written statement from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded at about 10:41 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, to the 11000 block of El Mirage Road after receiving reports of multiple gunshots heard in the area.
When deputies arrived, they learned that several individuals had been involved in a fight when gunfire erupted at the location.
During the investigation, deputies located multiple fired cartridge casings and discovered a vehicle that had been struck several times by gunfire.
Authorities said a 17-year-old juvenile suffered a minor injury to their foot and was treated at a local hospital. No other injuries were reported.
The suspect fled the area before deputies arrived and has not been identified.
The investigation remains ongoing.
