ADELANTO-(VVNG.COM): A 15-year-old boy is recovering in the hospital following two surgeries to repair damage done by gunshot wounds to his abdomen area.
Witnesses say that on Sunday, August the 23rd at about 12:30 a.m. chaos broke loose when gunshots rung were fired at a party on Daisy Road near Villa Street in Adelanto.
The juvenile victim, was airlifted to a trauma center for treatment of his injuries.
The victim’s family said that he was heavily sedated for several hours following his first surgery and was unable to speak due to a breathing tube that has since been removed. He is now able to speak and is thanking family and friends for their well wishes.
At this time, there is no information regarding any arrests. Information will be updated as it is received.
