15-Freeway Accident Leaves one Injured

map45CAJON PASS: A single vehicle traffic accident was reported on the south bound 15 freeway just north of Kenwood avenue on Saturday morning at about 9:36 a.m.

For unknown reasons the driver of a blue Nissan Versa lost control causing the driver to be trapped behind the steering wheel and requiring extrication from the vehicle.


It took first responders approximately 20 minutes to remove the subject from the vehicle. The extent of the driver’s injuries are unknown. Per CHP log’s the unidentified driver was transported via ground ambulance to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

The vehicle was in the fast lane and blocking traffic and reportedly caused a back up for a couple of miles.
