15 Lb baby born at Desert Valley in Hesperia.

Andrew Jacob (pictured) did more than tip the scales when he entered this world on Thursday, weighing in at 15 pounds, 2 ounces and measuring 24 inches long.

His proud parents are Vanessa and Daniel Cervantez of Hesperia.

Although Andrew Jacob does not break the world record for the biggest baby born, who weighed in at a whopping 23.12 ounces, he is believed to be be one of the largest babies delivered at Desert Valley Medical Center.
