11 Arrested, 13 Guns Seized in Countywide Sweep Including Adelanto and Victorville

SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A weeklong targeted crime suppression effort known as “Operation Consequences” led to multiple arrests and firearm seizures across San Bernardino County, with local enforcement actions taking place in Adelanto and Victorville.
Between January 5 and January 11, 2026, investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department – Gangs/Narcotics Division, along with deputies from patrol stations and partner agencies, executed seven search warrants and contacted individuals across several cities, including Yucca Valley, Adelanto, Victorville, San Bernardino, Fontana, and Montclair.
Additionally, the San Bernardino Movement Against Street Hoodlums (SMASH) Street Enforcement Team conducted proactive patrols in Victorville and nearby areas.
According to a written statement from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, “13 firearms were seized, one of which was a ghost gun,” and 11 arrests were made during the weeklong operation.

The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors provided funding for this countywide suppression effort, aimed at increasing law enforcement services that address “quality-of-life issues affecting the communities in our county.”
Operation Consequences is expected to continue in the coming months, focusing on the High Desert and areas under the Sheriff’s jurisdiction surrounding the City of San Bernardino. The operation brings together personnel from multiple agencies, including the California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino Police Department, County Probation, and Department of Homeland Security Investigations.
The operation’s objectives include disrupting violent crime, dismantling criminal street gangs, and arresting individuals involved in illegal firearm possession, manufacturing, or trafficking.
