1-Year-Old Hospitalized After Near Drowning in Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY, CA:(VVNG.com)- A 1-year-old child is fighting for his life following a near drowning on Monday night.
On September 5th at about 7:22 p.m. dispatch received a report of a baby that had fallen into a pool at a residence on the 13700 block of Cuyamaca Road in Apple Valley.
Per scanner traffic, the reporting party was not sure on how long the child had been inside the water. While on the phone with dispatchers the family administer CPR and the child reportedly began to vomit.
The child was transported by ground ambulance to St. Mary’s Medical Center and later airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
