
PERRIS, Calif. — Grab your goggles and parasols, put on your top hats and corsets, and jump into your airships to head over to the Orange Empire Railway Museum on March 17th and 18th for an extraordinary, two-day festival celebrating the fantasy, history and ingenuity behind Steampunk.
Enjoy festivities geared for the entire family as we pay homage to the Victorian Era, Edwardian science fiction, and the Industrial Revolution with the museum’s steam-powered locomotive as the backdrop. Bring the family and celebrate the fantasy, history and ingenuity behind Steampunk.
Admission for the event is $15 for ages 12 and up, $10 for ages 5 – 11, ages 4 and under are free. Museum Members receive a $5 per ticket discount.
The day’s activities include:
- Train and vintage trolley rides
- Steampunk artisans displaying jewelry, handiworks, steam powered
- contraptions and imaginative gadgets
- Steampunk costume contest
- Steampunk craft workshops
- Live Steampunk entertainment
- Workshops and panels
- Children’s activities
A Victorian Tea will be served in the Fred Harvey Museum. (Please Note: There is an additional fee of $10 for the tea) Tickets for the tea may be purchased at the Fred Harvey Museum on the day of the event.
