Woman’s Purse Stolen at Gunpoint; Police Searching for Suspect

HESPERIA-( At approximately 10:20 P.M., on Tuesday, May 26th an unidentified male robbed a female victim at gunpoint in the parking lot of the Dr. Mike’s Walk-in Clinic located in the 15700 block of Bear Valley Road.

Per scanner traffic, the suspect was described as a Hispanic Male Adult, 5’6″, medium build, in his 50’s, wearing a black shirt, and jeans. The suspect also had white hair, a moustache, may have been wearing a green and brown coat and was carrying a silver handgun.

The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction with the woman’s phone and purse.

Ground units as well as a Sheriff’s aviation unit are currently searching the area for a possible suspect. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Hesperia Police Department at 760-947-1500.

At this time, there it is unclear if the suspect has been apprehended, information will be updated as it is received.
