A card board box containing the ashes of a woman named Dorothy Mae Moss were found in a Stater Brothers parking lot located on hwy-395 & Palmdale rd. in
Adelanto. The person who found the box wishes to remain anonymous but explains how she found it.
After finding a parking space I parked and stepped out of my vehicle and I noticed the box in the parking space next to me. I paused for a second and wondered to myself, what’s inside the box? I was very shocked to find the ashes and I even brought them into the store to show the manager. He was helpful and informed be he could not keep them at the store. I had no choice but to take them home with me and here I am today.
According to a flyer found within the box, Dorothy Mae Moss home-going celebration was held on Thursday May 3rd 2007 by Pastor David Buffong. Her date of birth is listed as October 26, 1934 and the date of death is April 11, 2007. Dorothy Mae Moss’s last known residence was in Highland located within San Bernardino County, California.
After a brief search we located a Pastor David Buffong at Light & Life Missionary Baptist located at 28956 River Oaks Lane. in Highland, CA. A message has been left with the number listed and we are currently awaiting a response.
The crematory listed on the box has also been contacted, sadly they don’t have any updated information on the family. Unfortunately, if nobody claims the ashes of Dorothy Mae Moss within 60 days they will be placed into a wall of unclaimed.
The person who found it hopes to reunite the ashes with its owner. If the ashes belongs to you or to someone you know, please contact us via our website or email at email@example.com. Anyone who might know the family of Dorothy Mae Moss is urged to come forward.
