Woman transported after crashing into Victor Valley Christian Church

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) A woman was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries after crashing into a church building Sunday night.

At about 7:17 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the Victor Valley Christian Church in the 11200 block of 11th Avenue in Hesperia.

Upon arrival, they located a red 1991 Honda Accord that had left the roadway, drove through the parking lot, and crashed into the building, causing some structural damage.

The woman required minor extrication from the vehicle by San Bernardino County Firefighters.

The female driver and sole occupant was placed into the back of an ambulance and transported to Desert Valley Hospital with minor injuries, officials said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
