VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): Authorities from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said Thursday morning that a woman was airlifted at approximately 2:30 a.m., after being shot in the head with a BB gun. The incident began with a verbal altercation between a woman and her ex-boyfriend at a home in the 15000 block of 4th street on Thursday, July 23rd.
“At about 9:00 at night we see the police over there, a friend of his (the alleged suspect) had called the police on Nicole (the alleged victim), she was high drunk screaming and threatening their lives,” said neighbor, Alyssa Johnson.
“The cops came out put her in handcuffs then let her go. She came out threatening my life, so I then called the police on her once again they did nothing. I called the police on this women three times and finally she stopped,” she added.
The final call that dispatch received a report of the altercation and medical aid arrived just minutes following the report. Upon arrival, she reported that the man had allegedly hit her then shot in the head with a BB gun.
“This woman has done this before she hurts herself and then blames it on him this is nothing new. He was gone by midnight,” added Johnson.
The woman was transported by ground to Victor Valley Global Medical Center and she was subsequently airlifted to a trauma center for her serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
