Woman Allegedly Slams Baby Into Window

A woman was placed in handcuffs after allegedly slamming a 20-day-old baby into a window at a foster family agency.

HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies from Hesperia responded to A New Beginnings agency, located on the 16300 block of Main Street after it was reported that the mother was attempting to flee with the infant.

“The biological mother of the child came here for a visit, during the visit the mother began to flee with the child,” said Sergeant Goddard.

Authorities on scene were not able to confirm if the infant was actually slammed against the window citing the ongoing investigation.

“As far as the baby being injured that is under investigation and the baby was transported to a hospital as a precaution,” Sergeant Goddard told Victor Valley News.

Deputies are still conducting interviews with several people who claimed to have witnessed the incident.
