Brawl at Apple Valley Concert Series Leads to Three Teens Arrested

APPLE VALLEY: (VVNG.com)- A great evening that should have ended peacefully, unfortunately, ended in violence and with three teenagers arrested.

As we first reported via our Facebook group, Victor Valley News a brawl broke out at this year’s first Apple Valley Concerts in the Park event on Thursday night.

Just as the night was coming to an end a group of rowdy teenagers were involved in an altercation that resulted in a fight.

The fight initially started between two teenage girls near the front of the stage. A cell phone video submitted to Victor Valley News shows two teens on the floor fighting around a very large crowd watching. When deputies arrived, a Taser was used on one of the teens after allegedly failing to comply.

Authorities said, as they were attempting to break up the fight a third teen interfered, and reportedly attacked one of the deputies. Both teens involved in the fight were cited and released to their parents. The teen who allegedly attacked the officer was booked into the San Bernardino Juvenile Detention Center.

The Apple Valley Sheriff’s station has launched an administrative investigation regarding the use of the Taser.

More information will be updated as it becomes available.
