Victorville Subway Robbed at Gunpoint

VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- Police are searching for an armed robbery suspect responsible for holding up a Subway restaurant located on the 15200 block of Hook Drive in Victorville. The armed robbery was reported at about 11:15 AM, on Friday, January 22, 2016.

Two employees and several other customers were inside the business at the time of the robbery. According to reports, one employee managed to run out the back door of the business and dialed 911. Another female employee had a gun pointed to her head. No customers or employees were injured during the armed robbery.

Per scanner traffic, the suspect is described as an unknown male wearing a blue hoodie, blue ski mask, black shirt, black jeans and is armed with a gun. The suspect left the location in a black four-door Mitsubishi Galant towards Amargosa Road.

A CHP helicopter assisted ground deputies with the search for the suspect. As of 12:45 PM, no arrest have been made.
