VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Detectives are continuing to search for an attempted murder suspect after stabbing another man in his chest with a sword, officials said.
It happened on April 10, 2018, when Victorville deputies responded to the 12300 block of Bridgewood Lane, for a man who had been stabbed.
Deputies arrived and located the victim, a 24-year-old male in the backyard of the residence, suffering from a stab wound to his chest area, stated a news release. The victim was airlifted to a local hospital and he is recovering from his injuries described as ‘non-life threatening’.
“Through investigation, deputies learned the victim had been involved in a fight with a white male at the location. The fight escalated and the suspect stabbed the victim with a sword,” stated a news release.
After stabbing the victim, the suspect left the location, possibly in a white pickup truck. An extensive search of the area was conducted but the suspect was not located.
