APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) A man who was ejected from a Mini Cooper during a three-vehicle traffic accident Sunday afternoon has died.
Pedra Mena, 49 of Apple Valley, was transported to a hospital following the accident that occurred on June 4th, 2017 around at 2:12 p.m. at the intersection of Rancherias and Kiowa Roads.
The family said Mena was given a poor prognosis when doctors were unable to find brain activity.
On Monday, June 5th, 2017 at 3:46 p.m. Mena died from his injuries leaving behind his wife Ruby and two daughters.
Mena was the sole occupant of the vehicle. The passengers in the other involved vehicles sustained only minor injuries.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
The family is accepting donations via a Go Fund Me account established for funeral expenses.
