Victorville High-Speed Pursuit Ends in Arrest

VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- One person is in custody after leading deputies on a high-speed pursuit.

At about 12:35 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6th a Victorville deputy attempted to perform a traffic stop on a speeding white BMW.

The vehicle failed to yield and continued southbound on Hesperia Road at speeds of 120 mph. The vehicle continued traveling at very unsafe speeds on surface streets and blowing through stop signs.

A passenger inside the vehicle foot bailed in the area of Nisqualli and 7th and ran through an open desert. The BMW continued traveling at a high-rate of speed towards Pacoima.

The pursuit terminated on the 13400 block of Northstar Avenue in Victorville. Deputies took the driver into custody without any further incident.

As of 1:30 a.m. it’s unknown if the suspect who foot bailed was located and taken into custody.
