UPDATE @ 2:00 PM – The Victorville DMV location remains open with limited services.
“One of our systems experienced a hardware failure. Approximately half of DMV field offices are impacted by the hardware failure. Field office staff are still helping customers by providing return appointments, helping with paperwork, and conducting drive tests,” According to Jessica Gonzales Assistant Deputy Director of Public Affairs with DMV.
“There is an issue for driver license and vehicle registration transactions. We are still helping customers and conducting drive tests”.
VICTORVILLE, CA:(VVNG.com)- If you were planning on visiting the California Department of Motor Vehicles in Victorville, you might want to reconsider or reschedule.
A message published onto the DMV’s website reads:
“Multiple DMV field offices are experiencing technical difficulties that may affect customer transactions. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.”
There’s no information on when the problem is expected to be resolved.
