VICTORVILLE, Calif. – The City of Victorville is in the process of updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan. Members of the community are invited to offer input regarding the Hazard Mitigation Plan through an online survey and at a Stakeholders Meeting scheduled for 3 p.m. on March 16 in Conference Room D at Victorville City Hall.
The goal of the Hazard Mitigation Plan is to reduce the risk of injury and damage to property from future events such as wildfires, floods and earthquakes. During the Stakeholders Meeting on March 16, City representatives will explain the City’s ongoing efforts to mitigate natural hazards and seek valuable input from the community.
