VICTOR VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) Strong and gusty winds in the mountains and deserts are expected Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service
The wind advisory issued by the NWS will remain in effect from 6:00 p.m. Tuesday to 8:00 a.m. Wednesday. Winds are expected to peak Tuesday night and weaken into Wednesday morning.
West winds are expected to produce 20-30 MPH winds with gusts between 45-55 MPH. The windiest locations may see local gusts of 65 MPH.
Motorist with high-profile vehicles are urged to take extra precautions as the winds will making driving difficult. Those living in desert areas are encouraged to watch for broken tree limbs and reduced visibility caused by blowing sand/dust.
