Vehicle Tumbles Off Freeway Saturday Morning

DEVORE-(VVNG.com):  One man and two children were injured in a single-vehicle rollover Saturday morning. At around 10:36 a.m. a black Dodge Dakota was traveling south on the I-15 near Glen Helen Parkway when according to witnesses it crossed all lanes and overturned down an embankment.

“It was missing some tread on the back tire could have been a tire malfunction,” said witness, Nick Mendoza. “When the driver got out he said he heard the tire blew and lost control.”

Per CHP incident logs three people, including two children, were able to self-extricate from the mangled pickup truck. When CHP officers arrived they located the truck around 30 feet from the roadway resting on its side.

The occupants of the vehicle were transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center for the treatment of minor injuries.
