Vegetation Fire Reported in Summit Valley

SUMMIT VALLEY:(VVNG.com)- Firefighters responded to a report of a vegetation fire on Summit Valley Road near highway 138.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a 200×300 foot long by 5 to 10 ft. wide brush fire.

The incident was reported just after 12:30 P.M., on Wednesday, July 15, 2015.

Per scanner traffic, the fire was out by 1:00 P.M., without threat of spread to surrounding vegetation.

At this time the cause of the fire is under investigation. More information will be updated as it becomes available.
