VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- On August 22nd a 72-year-old Victorville man was attacked following a verbal dispute with three women at a Arco gas station on Hesperia Road and Nisqualli Road in Victorville. According to the victim, Danny Froschaur, he had simply pulled into the gas station parking near a gas pump. The women first started to accuse him of taking their pump then yelling for him to move. Upon the elderly man refusing to move his vehicle the dispute escalated to his grandson, who he was watching at the time being pushed aside and verbally confronted and Froschaur being punched.
Witnesses pulled out their camera phones to capture the incident for evidence. One of the irate women grabbed a phone from the hand of a witness and attempted to take the other witness’ phone. Upon the arrival of the police the women were detained and taken into custody, the third pregnant woman was also charged, but was later released.
The 21-year-old pregnant woman, DeAngela Finney, charged with assault and elder abuse was later found to have provided false information regarding her identity to the investigating officer. The woman not only gave a false name, but the name given was that of her sister, Tatiana Finney in an attempt to avoid the criminal charges. Due to her giving the false information to the officer, additional charges will be pursued. Finney’s incarceration and trial will be delayed due to her pregnancy.
The other two women, Leticia Susana Aguilar, 26 and Brittany Ann Johnson, 24 at this time are incarcerated and have pleaded not guilty to all charges. Their jury trial has been set for October 27th. Until then they will be held at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga each on $75,000 bail.
