Two Arrests Made in Connection With Oak Hills Chevron Station Robbery

OAK HILLS-(  Two suspects were arrested in connection with a Tuesday, January 26, 2016, robbery at the Grandview Chevron Station located at 13302 Ranchero Road. At around 10:00 p.m. two Hispanic males entered the station, one attempting to steal of a bottle of alcohol.

The store employee attempted to stop the suspect. “They were unarmed, but they did beat the clerk when he attempted to stop them,” said store manager, Joel Rezk.  The suspects then left the scene in  a dark-colored vehicle driven by a third suspect.  

The store surveillance footage with clear images of the suspects was shared throughout the community through a January 28th Victor Valley News article. The Victor Valley Station quickly received numerous tips, which assisted in identifying the suspects.

Through the investigation, headed to the by Detective Marion Brown along with the assistance of the High Desert Specialized Enforcement Team a search warrant was served at the residence of one of the suspects.

Hesperia resident, Brandon Anthony Sanchez, 18 and a 16-year old Hesperia resident were arrested for robbery.
