Tuesday Morning Power Outage in Victorville

UPDATE @11:00 am – Approximately 417 residents remain without power.

VICTORVILLE, Calif.(VVNG.com)- More than 2300 people in Victorville woke up without power Tuesday morning. The outages were centralized in the area near Hook Park.

Affected homes were located on and around Mojave Drive, between Amargosa Road and Tawney Ridge Drive.

According to Southern California Edison online outage map, the outage started at 7:40 a.m., with 2,373 affected homes but was later isolated down to 1,489. Power is expected to be fully restored by 8:40 a.m.

As of 8:30 a.m. members of our Facebook group Victor Valley News have reported their power is back on.

At this time, the cause of the outage is currently unknown.
