Truck Fire in Cajon Pass Spreads to Vegetation

CAJON PASS, CA:(VVNG.com)– Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire on the southbound 15 freeway near the Kenwood Exit Tuesday afternoon.

The vehicle fire was reported at about 12:00 p.m. on October 4th.

When firefighters arrived on scene the Chevy Silverado truck was fully engulfed and the fire had spread to nearby vegetation.

US Forest Service Fire also responded for the vegetation. Per scanner reports, as of 12:15 pm. the vegetation fire was reported to be out.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown and no injuries have been reported.
