Traffic on Bear Valley Road Heavily Congested

bearvalleyroadVICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- A tractor-trailer hauling an oversized load collided into a traffic signal knocking it down at the corner of Bear Valley Road and Tamarisk Road.

For unknown reasons the semi collided with the traffic signal, causing it to fall into the roadway on the north east corner next to the Shell gas station. Southern California Edison is responding to the scene to help disconnect the pole.

Please be advised the westbound and eastbound lanes on Bear Valley Road are “heavily congested” due to a flashing four-way stop.

Units will be assisting with traffic control on the right turn lane. Victorville public works has been requested to respond.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:00 A.M., on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. No injuries have been reported.

More information will be updated as it becomes available.
