TRAFFIC ALERT: Bear Valley/I-15 Freeway Ramp Closures

VICTORVILLE, CALIF.(VVNG.com)- Motorist are being advised of upcoming northbound I-15 ramp closures at Bear Valley Road planned from November 4th through November 6th.

This weekend, the City of Victorville will pave portions of Bear Valley Road near the cross section with Mariposa Road. This roadwork will necessitate the closure of the I-15 Northbound ramps at Bear Valley Road.

No traffic will be permitted to exit from Northbound I-15 to Bear Valley Road, and no traffic will be able to access I-15 Northbound from Bear Valley Road from Friday, Nov. 4 at 8 p.m. until Sunday, Nov. 6 at 4 p.m.

The Southbound ramps will be open, but access may be limited during this three-day period.

Through- traffic on Bear Valley Road will be permitted, but traffic patterns will be altered and some lanes will be closed. Congestion and delays are expected.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes. Those who must travel in this area are asked to exercise caution and obey all directional signs.

The paving is a continuation of the City’s construction project to improve Bear Valley Road that began at the beginning of October. The roadwork is on-schedule and expected to be complete prior to Thanksgiving.

For more information about this road project, call the City of Victorville Engineering Department at (760) 955-5158.
