Tip-A-Cop Wednesday Night At Red Robin

The Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station will be serving the community in a different way than usual.

On Wednesday, October 9th, the community will have an opportunity to be served by the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station- and we’re not talking court documents either.

On the above date deputies from the Apple Valley Sheriff’s station will turn in their badge for an apron and will spend the evening at Red Robin serving the customers between 5pm-9pm.Screen Shot 2013-10-08 at 7.15.39 PM

At this Tip-A-Cop fundraiser officers will happily wait on customers hand and foot to receive tips in support of a good cause. All of the tips donated to the officers will benefit Special Olympics Southern California athletes.

The mission of Special Olympics Southern California is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Please help local law enforcement support people with intellectual disabilities by eating a delicious lunch or dinner at Red Robin located at 18999 Bear Valley Road, Apple Valley.
