Thursday Morning Shooting Leaves Man in Critical Condition

VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- A man was airlifted to a trauma center early Thursday morning after a report of shots fired near 11th and C Streets in Victorville.

Deputies arrived on scene to find an injured man, that was suffering from a gunshot wound to an undisclosed area of his body.

Mercy Air was requested due to the severity of the injuries. The man was transported to Victor Valley Global Medical Center where he was then airlifted to an out of area trauma hospital for treatment of critical, but non-life-threatening injuries.

According to scanner traffic, the victim was shot by two black male adults for unknown reasons. The suspects have not been detained, arrested or identified at this time. The incident is still currently under investigation.
